Dr Shirley D'Souza
Shirley qualified as a doctor in 1990 from Leeds University and currently works part-time as a GP in West London. In addition to her role in the community, she is currently involved in developing primary care services for West London Mental Health medium and low secure forensic units.
Shirley has a special interest in psychology and well-being at work and completed an MSc in Business Psychology in September 2009 at the University of Westminster. She has an additional interest in communication skills and from 2011- 2012 she was involved in teaching first year medical students health psychology, sociology and communication skills in the Department of Primary Care, Imperial College London
In February 2011, Shirley gained a Certificate in Coaching from Portsmouth Business School having trained with The Performance Coach, a performance coaching and leadership development consultancy which operates globally and in the UK with many large organisations including the NHS. Following this she became an accredited coach with Leading for Health which provides leadership programmes and development for NHS London.
